Renowned for its prestigious creative programs. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is a multi-purpose stadium in Los Angeles, California's Exposition Park area. The Coliseum, designed as a symbol of civic pride, was commissioned in 1921 as a tribute to World War I veterans from Los Angeles. It was completed in 1923 and will become the first stadium in history to hold the Summer Olympics three times when it hosts the Summer Olympics in 2028; it previously held the Summer Olympics in 1932 and 1984. On July 27, 1984, a day before the opening ceremony of the 1984 Summer Olympics, it was declared a National Historic Landmark. Wow!
